Hammers. There are wonderful devices, so simple in their contruction, yet so effective at what they do. And what would an adventure be without having one handy at your disposal.
Well, Raving Manor does indeed have a hammer stashed somewhere. But it is not just lying about - it is put up for safe keeping. Story has it that the good doctor, fearful for the life of his maddening wife (and his own, no doubt) hid all of the items that could have been used to inflict bodily harm. A few he missed, but the hammer he did in fact manage to stow away. Where, you ask? Well, have you ran across a big locked trunk? Now you know where.
