Why iAdventureGame?
In some people's viewpoint, iAdventureGame is a throwback to older computer games. Back in the day when personal computers were first coming out,
Adventure Games were the first kind of media to make the printed word leap off the page and become interactive. You really could explore a favorite oook thanks to Adventure Games.
But just because the technology has moved beyond that concept, I personally think adventure games are no more outdated than an e-book is. Sure,
technology has enabled them to do more than you could in the past. But the base concept of being dumped into a world that you must explore and escape
using your wits is a classic concept that will always be with humankind.
So, I see the need for iAdventureGame as I would the need for escape itself. People need the chance to break away for a while and explore something new.
Adventure Games do that as well or better than anything I have found. The typical Adventure Game may have evolved beyond only the printed word,
but the concept is still the same. And I delight in sharing my Adventure Games with the many hardy intrepid adventurers out there. I think maybe
we all should live by the motto, "Have Crowbar, will travel". While it is not always possible to do that in real life, at least we can do it in
a virtual one until the opportunity presents itself.
Now, go get lost (in one of my adventure games, of course). And if you get stuck, check the hints here or send an email.
But if you want to share the word about iAdventureGame, thanks in advance. Also feel free to give a title a review (on iTunes for the
iPhone apps). I want you to be honest, but if there is something in particular you really don't like about a game, consider giving me a shout at
feedback@iAdventureGame.com for a chance to address it.
Have a Grand Adventure,
Greg Chaffins

Raving Manor 1.3 has escaped its confinement and is now available on the App Store. This is a free update to all of the brave adventurers already touring the manor. This version fixes a bug that did not save the manual game reset condition until a few screens were played. This version also adds a direct link on the info screen to the Raving Manor hints on iAdventureGame, opening the browser and avoiding a manual launch of Safari.
Thanks to all of the great players out there for the support, and if you have any suggestions please don't hesitate to shoot them to me at greg@iadventuregame.com.

I can talk about Raving Manor a lot, but a short clip of the game being played may serve well as a quick introduction to the iPhone adventure. The game does not have sound, since I wanted to encourage playing it anywhere by design. In respect to that, and to be sure that I do not misle...
